Where did January go? Time goes by way to fast. Today is a beautiful day, it is sunny a little windy but warmer than it has been. I guess maybe I should go outside some today and enjoy the weather. We'll see.
I have been doing a little crocheting at night but mostly I've been playing on the computer. Shame on me..... lol. I've been reading blogs and looking at all the nice crochet and knitting items that everybody has been making. You all do such a great job. It sure does make the wish list grow really big. I would love to try to crochet some socks. I also have been trying to make some doll clothes for my granddaughters. I don't want to make barbie clothes but I want to make the clothes for their other baby dolls. I guess I'm thinking of Christmas gifts already for next year. It takes me a while to get things done. I would also love to make the valentines blanket that alot of people are making I guess it's from the Crochet world or Crochet Today magazine. I'm having a hard time finding the magazine up here. I have tried Wal-marts, Ben Franklins, our grocery store (Glens) and I even tried the book store in Gaylord. No luck.
I might have to wait until next month and order the subscription to the magazine. It is really hard up here to get crochet magazines.
I have started a different blanket for my hubby. It is called Lumberjack Flannel afghan. It is crocheted holding 2 strands of yarn together. I found the pattern at crochetville. I think he will like this one better because it is going to be a lot warmer than the mile a minute blanket I was starting for him. I have 2 strips done so far and the third one started. It does crochet up fast. I have put the 2 strips together I will take a picture of it this evening after bowling. I have to sub tonight. Of course it's superbowl Sunday. I will have to record the game. I love to watch the commericials. I saw a preview of one on line today and it was so funny.
Well I better get off the computer and get some things done. You all have a wonderful day and keep on crocheting.

I hope you got out & enjoyed the warmer weather...Here where Ilive it is in 40's, and it feels good....I crocheted a blanket for my husband, not full size, something for him to take the chill off, and I used two strands of yarn of different colors, it came out real nice and your are correct it will be alot warmer...I hope you find a project..I don't like being without one...time does get away from you when you are on this computer reading the blogs...I really have to police myself, and sometimes I don't do a very good job.....:) Have a good one....Faith
Hope you have fun bowling. I've been wanting to try the lumberjack ghan too. Like you, the more you see the more you want to make, the bigger the list gets. lol
Could you get the magazine at your local library for the pattern?

You are staying busy that is for sure. Glad you had some nice weather. today is my day to go out and I have to do some mailing and go to the cat salon and my hair salon. Can't wait to see your projects.
